About
Benjamin Tarp is a Danish fine art photographer and imagemaker based between Stockholm and Copenhagen. Working primarily in long-form series, his practice explores memory, absence, and the emotional residue of lived experience—photographs that move between intimacy and distance, reality and fiction. Through portraiture and quiet scenes, he builds narratives that invite slow looking, where atmosphere and subtle detail carry meaning.
Alongside his fine art practice, Tarp works across editorial and commercial commissions, bringing a refined, narrative sensibility to image-making.
His client list spans between fashion, design, and editorial work. Collaborations include:
Condé Nast, Vogue, Zalando, Kinfolk, The New York Times, Skall, na-kd, MKDT Studio, Arne Jacobsen Design, Bolou, A. Kjærbede, Woodbird, and Lucky Lo,
